Testimonials

We relocated to Colorado because of all the outdoor opportunities. We never wanted our son’s disability to prevent him from enjoying them. ESAC is a great resource for growing his independence safely and socially in the outdoors.

– Monica, mother of participant

ESAC has been such an amazing experience for my sister.  The activities have appropriately challenged what she thought wasn’t possible, and she has grown both in physical endurance and confidence. After the adventure outings, she comes back beaming and so proud of herself for what she has accomplished.  We feel so fortunate that this adventure club was formed in our community by such caring and giving people.”

–   Gloria, sister of participant

My kid’s experience with Evergreen SAC has been wonderful. The activities are well-thought and planned. The group has been like a good “tribe” for my kid. He feels included and part of something wonderful.

– Faye, Mother of participant

It’s our pleasure to let you know that your program has been a huge asset to our community and to Avery! What better way to connect with old friends and make new ones than to “play” in our wonderful outdoors? Avery looks forward to the hikes, dinners and life skills training that Evergreen SAC provides. She is always happy and excited to tell us about her experiences on the trail and with Martha, Maren and the other kids. Each hike brings with it a sense of camaraderie, accomplishment, and well being.

We are grateful for the Evergreen SAC!

– Tracy and Tim, Mother and Father of participant

My son Luke has been involved in ESAC for the past year, and he has really enjoyed the hikes and social connections. There is a lot of education regarding the particular activity on that day and life skills. Martha and Maren are great!

I am always looking for ways that my special needs daughter can be active, and participate in the same Colorado activities as everyone else. Evergreen SAC provides a wonderful and authentic way for her to safely enjoy these activities at her ability level, with encouragement from her peers.
